You Don’t Have to Starve for Rapid Weight Loss

How Sugars and Carbs affects Your Appetite

The food you’re craving is probably the most difficult to give up and they may even make you hungrier.  Sugars and carbohydrates enter the bloodstream and spike your insulin levels.  The problem is your body’s main fat storage hormone is insulin.  Cutting back on your sugars and carbs will help you lower your insulin levels and get rid of those cravings.

You will be able to lose weight without getting hungry and you will also get rid of excess water.  Okay, you may wonder if you cut back on carbs and sugars then what do you eat.  You eat meats and vegetables because they contain all the vitamins and fiber you need to stay healthy.

 Eat Protein, Fat and Vegetables

You want to plan your meals in advance so you can prep and have it ready to cook when you want it.  Include protein, fat, and low carb vegetables in every meal.  Eating smaller meals more often helps you control your hunger, so you should eat 2 or 3 times a day.   You can have a protein shake or bar for your snack since they are quick and easy.  You can eat as much of these low carb vegetables and still not go over the daily recommended carbs.  Eating like this will help lower your insulin levels so you can get the rapid weight loss and stay healthy.

Protein is the building blocks of your muscles and there is no nutrient better for losing weight.  Eating protein daily is essential to boosting your metabolism. Research has shown you eat less and burn up to 100 calories more per day.  Getting enough protein in your diet will also help stop your snacking and cravings.  When cutting back on your sugars and carbs it is important to get good fats with your meal.   You’re setting yourself up to starve if you get rid of both and will likely quit.

Your body needs healthy fats, specifically omega 6 and omega 3 fats.   You can only get them from food. Omega 3 fats help’s build the hormones that help regulate your blood and heart and have been shown to help prevent heart disease and stroke.  You can get your fats from both plants and animals but getting your omega 3 through animals like grass fed beef, salmon help you get the best fats.  Studies show that eating lots of these types of fat improve your mood, helps your insulin, and muscle growth. Rapid weight loss happens when you learn to make healthy eating choices.

Exercise 3 or More Times Per Week.

Exercising 3 or more times per week will help speed your metabolism and let you experience rapid weight loss.  Everyone knows you don’t have to exercise to lose weight but if you want to get results fast you should exercise.  When you start exercising make sure you prepare first with some stretching before you use weights and afterward too.  Exercising helps you build muscle and that keeps your metabolism in fat burning mode which helps with rapid weight loss.  If you don’t have the time to workout try to do as much cardio as you can.

As you exercise and build muscle you start losing fat and you may start feeling a loss of energy.  This happens because your body burned all the fat and you are not eating as much overall.  With this loss of energy, you don’t want to get sloppy with your workouts.  You want to go slow and make sure your form is right.  You will get the best results concentrating on your muscle contractions.  Doing these things will help you burn fats easier and with the water loss some people have see up to 10 pounds in a week and keep losing healthily after.

Reward Yourself Once a Week

There is no reason for you to starve yourself when losing weight and keeping a strict routine is hard.  Reward yourself and take a day off every week and eat some carbs.  Don’t be alarmed if you gain a little back on your cheat day, once you start back exercising and eating right again you will lose it in a day.  Following this routine lets you reduce your hunger so you can achieve your fitness goals.
